LEG 01 · WHY FOUNDERS PICK TRAVIQ

Your team books their own trips. You see the exceptions.

Corporate travel for Indian startups that have outgrown a WhatsApp travel agent but haven't grown into an enterprise contract. Your team self-serves within the policy you set in one sentence. Only the 5% that needs you actually reaches you.

LEG 02 · WHY NOW

Sunday-night WhatsApp is not a travel program

Every Indian founder running a 50-300 person company hits the same wall. By trip 200, the agent is the bottleneck for every BLR→DXB business-class exception, quotes come back “a bit higher today,” and GST invoices arrive in February for January trips. The enterprise tools want a year-long contract and a six-figure floor. The agent wants another Sunday-night WhatsApp.

Traviq is the in-between. Every flight on every airline, priced against MakeMyTrip and Cleartrip — not against a GDS quote your agent marks up. Tickets issued by TravClan and Tripjack (IATA-accredited); payments via Razorpay (RBI-PA licensed). The fare on screen is the fare your team pays.

LEG 03 · WHAT CHANGES

What your team gets, and what you stop seeing

The policy is a sentence. “Economy under four hours, premium over. Hotel cap ₹8,500 — ₹12,000 in BLR, BOM, DEL. Auto-approve under ₹40,000.” Traviq parses it. Bookings under that line go through one-click; exceptions route to you with the trade-off explained in plain English. You stop being copied on every routine BLR→DXB and start seeing only the trips that actually need a decision.

Your team gets the cheapest in-policy fare first, every airline searched in one place, the GST invoice in their inbox before they board. No more “did you get the receipt?” on the Monday after a Friday flight.

The miles belong to you. Every flight earns to your company’s corporate wallet — Emirates Skywards Business, IndiGo 6E Corporate, Air India Maharaja Corporate. A 50-person team flying ₹50 lakh a year typically earns ₹3-5 lakh in business-class redemptions when miles flow to one account. With most agents, those miles never reach you.

LEG 04 · THE 5%

The 5% that still needs a human

Software handles 95%. The other 5% is what your old agent was actually for — the JFK flight that pushed back four hours, the visa-on-arrival that wasn’t, the BOM-BLR that needs to be BOM-HYD by 11pm tonight.

We don’t pretend software replaces that. So we split the day between Bengaluru and Dubai — whichever timezone is awake. WhatsApp goes to the founders’ phones after signup, not a ticketing queue. The first message you send goes to Jitesh in Bengaluru or Nameet in Dubai. Not support@. Not a chatbot. The two of us.

LEG 06 · FROM US

A note from Jitesh and Nameet

We built this because we were the ones running the WhatsApp thread, at two different companies. One of us was the founder writing “can you book this for tomorrow morning” at 11pm. The other was the finance person finding out in February that January’s invoices never reached the GST portal.

We’re not building a TMC. We’re building the tool we wished existed in 2022 — when the company was 60 people, travelling weekly, and the agent on WhatsApp had become the third co-founder we didn’t ask for.

Jitesh runs Bengaluru. Nameet runs Dubai. Drumworks Ventures, our parent firm, is registered in Mumbai (Chembur, 400089), GSTIN 27AASFD4920E1ZE. We’re in private pilot with three Indian teams. If you book a call, one of us picks up the Zoom.

Who’s actually picking up the Zoom

Two co-founders. Two timezones. No SDR layer.

Nameet co-founded Drumworks Ventures and runs Traviq from Dubai. Previously, he led merchant payments at PayU India, where he helped onboard over 5 million Indian SMBs onto digital finance. He has spent the past five years building across payments, fintech infrastructure, and digital finance in India and the GCC.

Drumworks Ventures is our parent firm — Partnership Firm, registered in Mumbai (Chembur, 400089), GSTIN 27AASFD4920E1ZE. The same two people answer support, demo calls, and the 5% that needs a human.

Travel rebuild — Traviq

Looked at Traviq. Their CFO page lays out where the ₹4.2L leak is in our current setup — commission, ITC slippage, invoice timing. If we move, books close Tuesday instead of Thursday. Want to take a look before we renew the agent? — [name]

The booking tool I want us to try

Have a look at the Traviq admin dashboard. One screen for every trip, GST invoice attached same-day, employee profiles saved so you stop re-typing passport numbers. They have a 2-min walkthrough on the page. — [name]

LEG 07 · FAQ

The questions founders ask before they switch

The questions a finance head, founder, admin, or CA actually asks before they recommend a change to corporate travel. Direct answers, no marketing voice.

How is Traviq different from MakeMyTrip Business or Cleartrip Business?

MakeMyTrip Business and Cleartrip Business are self-serve booking tools on top of a B2C engine — fare display, payment, basic GST. Traviq is built for the operating reality of an Indian startup: policy parsed from a sentence, approvals routed automatically, GST invoice with IRN attached same-day, loyalty miles to your corporate wallet, real humans on WhatsApp for the 5% that breaks. Same airlines, same routes — minus the commission baked into your current agent's quote.

Do we have to switch our existing travel agent on day one?

No. Most pilots run Traviq alongside the existing agent for the first 30 days. New bookings go to Traviq; the agent stays for in-flight changes on old tickets. By day 30 you've seen the close-week difference and the loyalty-miles accrual. Switching after that is a decision, not a leap.

What does Traviq actually cost?

A transparent platform fee per booking, listed on the invoice — no markup on the fare. For a 50-person team booking ₹50 lakh a year, the platform fee is materially less than the 4-8% commission your current agent bakes in. The net delta usually pays for the platform inside the first quarter.

How does the founder WhatsApp line actually work?

After signup, you get a WhatsApp thread directly with Jitesh (Bengaluru) and Nameet (Dubai). For the first six months, it's the two of us answering — that's not a sales pitch, it's how we run the company. As we hire, we add named operators with handoff visible to you. No support@ queue.

Can our team book international travel through Traviq, including USA and UAE?

Yes. Domestic India, UAE (BLR↔DXB↔AUH), USA (BLR↔SFO, BOM↔EWR), Singapore, EU. Every airline our IATA partners ticket — essentially every airline in operation. Multi-city and round-the-world fares supported; the policy parser handles per-region cabin rules.

What about traveller safety and duty of care for international trips?

Live disruption tracking on every booked itinerary — schedule changes, gate changes, delays, cancellations. WhatsApp ping to traveller and the on-call founder for any disruption affecting same-day departure. The on-call number routes to whichever timezone is awake.

Who's behind Traviq?

Drumworks Ventures (Partnership Firm, Mumbai, GSTIN 27AASFD4920E1ZE). Co-founded by Jitesh (Bengaluru) and Nameet (Dubai). Tickets issued by TravClan and Tripjack (IATA-accredited); payments via Razorpay (RBI-PA licensed). We're in private pilot with three Indian teams.

How long does onboarding take for a 60-person team?

Eight working days, kickoff to first live booking. Day 1-2: traveller list import. Day 3: policy parsed and reviewed. Day 4-5: GL codes and cost-centers mapped. Day 6-7: Tally / Zoho import preview with your accountant. Day 8: first live booking.

The 20-min call is with one of us. Not an SDR. Not a generic demo.

Bring last quarter's travel spend if you have it. We'll walk through what the same trips would have cost on Traviq, what the GST close would have looked like, and what the loyalty miles would have earned.
